One company for the whole system, not just the part that broke
Most homeowners find us in the middle of a problem: the furnace quit overnight, the AC is running but the house never cools, or a technician from somewhere else quoted a replacement and it didn't add up. Whatever brought you here, the work starts the same way — we look at the whole system before we recommend anything.
That matters because heating and cooling equipment rarely fails in isolation. A blower that keeps tripping on high limit is often a duct or filter problem. An air conditioner that ices up in July can be low on refrigerant, starved for return air, or oversized for the house it was installed in. If we only replaced the part that failed, you would be calling us again next season.
Every service below is delivered by the same small local crew out of our shop on Saltsburg Road in Pittsburgh. We service every major brand, we carry the common failure parts on the truck, and we put the findings in writing so you can read them at the kitchen table instead of deciding under pressure in your basement.

Common questions about our services
Which service should I request if I don't know what's wrong?+
Request a service visit and describe the symptom in your own words. Whether it turns into a repair, a maintenance visit, or a replacement conversation is our problem to work out, not yours. You do not need to diagnose anything before you call.
Do you charge for a diagnostic visit?+
There is a diagnostic charge on repair visits. Ask about it when you arrange the appointment so you know the number before a technician is at your door — we would rather tell you on the phone than surprise you in your basement.
Do you service equipment you didn't install?+
Yes. Most of the systems we work on were installed by someone else, often decades ago. We service all makes and models, including older boilers, high-velocity systems, and ductless mini-splits.
What's the difference between a service visit and an estimate?+
A service visit is diagnostic work on a system that isn't behaving — we test it, explain what we found, and quote the fix. An estimate is a planning visit for equipment you're considering replacing; we measure the house, review your ductwork, and price the options. Some visits end up being both.
Is there a difference between routine service and emergency service?+
Yes. Routine work — maintenance, estimates, non-urgent repairs — is scheduled on the main line at 412-795-1054. No heat, no cooling in dangerous weather, or anything involving a gas or carbon monoxide concern should go to the 24-hour line at 412-583-0513 instead of a web form.
